Rose Lane is a country girl from Twiggs County, Georgia. Born there in 1948, she still calls Bullard home. For 32 years, she has been married to CHUCK LEAVELL, renowned rock and roll pianist, notably of the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and the Allman Brothers Band. They have two daughters, Amy Bransford and Ashley Leavell. All of Rosie's adult life has been immersed in the field of music, fashion and the visual arts. She was employed at Phil Walden's Capricorn Records during the boom of Southern music in the early 1970s before striking out on her own with the popular and cutting-edge Cornucopia boutique in downtown Macon, Georgia. In 1996 after a long and successful run, she closed the store to devote more attention to establishing the family's CHARLANE PLANTATION as a premier hunting preserve and corporate retreat. In 1999 they were named National Tree Farmers of the Year. Amidst the pines and hard work, Rosie has always found time to indulge in her passion for painting in various media. Her first love is working with oils but she's exploring pastels - so keep coming back to see her latest creations; the gallery is ever-changing and evolving.
